coondawg10 season ending function

Written by coondawg10 at 20:35 16/9-2013

At the end of coondawg10 first season the manager Matt decided to host a team dinner(Braai)at his home on the beachfront in Plettenberg bay. All of the riders and there partners where invited to attend this celebratory occasion. The local media was in attendance (really just the tiny free paper that has security notices and adverts).
The event started at 6 o clock in the evening and ended in a small prize giving ceremony in which Grant Chamane was Awarded Cyclist of the year and Gerald Dohrmann and Dwight Williams shared the Youngster of the year award. The team had a decent start to their OCM career and will be hoping for an improvement over the season to come.
When asked what to expect in the next season Matt said “We are still very inexperienced and I hope to see more results next year and continued hard work and training from my team” He further stated he was proud of his team and excited to see what the future holds.
The team will meet for a short strategy meeting tomorrow before they enter the next season optimistic and nervous of the journey ahead.

haha tx... I am sure next year all the sa team managers will be invited... we just could not afford the food this year our team had to save money for training ;) we even charged the team members R100 for their partners :)
